About Us

Myanmar’s First Youth-Led Social Enterprise for Stationery & Office Supplies, Empowering Education Through Every Purchase

In 2025, I founded WriteWay as Myanmar’s first youth-led social enterprise for stationery and office supplies.

My inspiration comes from my foster brother, Ko Tar Aye. When COVID-19 closed schools, I was able to continue learning online, but he could not. Back in his village, cut off from the internet and resources, his education ended. Not because he lacked talent, but because he lacked access. Growing up together, building LEGO and inventing our own games, I witnessed his creativity firsthand. That’s when I realized: talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not.

Our Vision & Mission

Our Vision & Mission

A Myanmar where no child misses out on education because of a lack of school supplies

To ensure students have reliable access to stationery by operating a non-profit model that sustains itself and directs all extra earnings back to children in need of school supplies.

WriteWay was born from a revelation

An online social enterprise built on integrity, transparency, and impact. We openly share wholesale and retail prices, donate 70% of profits directly to children’s education, and reinvest the remaining 30% to expand our reach. Every purchase is aimed to help kids like my foster brother, those with talent but lacking opportunity.

This is the principle WriteWay operates by: Operating with Integrity and Empowering with Education.
When you choose WriteWay, you’re not simply buying stationery or office supplies, you’re investing in a child’s future and helping pave the right way forward.

With years of experience in the industry, we understand what our customers need and strive to exceed their expectations every single day.

Our Story

Our Story

Until 2018, Ko Tar Aye, who was like a brother to me, was just like any other student. He woke up early, packed his notebooks, studied hard and like many other students believed that he would become doors would open if he achieved good grades. He lived with our family, and my parents sponsored his education. To me, he wasn’t just a guest, he was the brother I never had. When Covid-19 struck, he was on a trip back to his home town. Schools shut down, the internet was out of reach, and he was cut off from learning. What should have been a temporary pause in his education became a turning point. While I was able to learning online, Ko Tar Aye could not. His notebooks abandoned. His lessons ceased. And slowly, the light he carried as a student began to fade. Even after COVID restrictions were lifted, he didn’t return to school. I remember calling him on my mom's phone to ask him to come back to Yangon to continue his education, but he refused. Maybe it was the shame of being older than his classmates. Maybe it was the fear of starting over in a lower grade. Or maybe he no longer saw himself as a student. I still think about him often. That contrast between my own path and his changed me. It showed that in Myanmar, talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. WriteWay was born to close that gap. We believe no child should lose their future just because they can’t afford a pen, a notebook, or the chance to keep up.

A world where that isn't a problem is the WriteWay
